StormGain Crypto Exchange Signs Sponsor Deal with Newcastle United FC

Newcastle United FC

StormGain cryptocurrency exchange has announced its endorsement deal with the top English Premier League (EPL) football team, Newcastle United FC, for the 2019/2020 season.

According to a press release yesterday, the move would see the football club jersey and stadium bear the logo of the crypto exchange throughout the season.

Additionally, both football fans and crypto traders are promised mouthwatering incentives for the season, including winning tickets for matches, attending training sessions, and meeting with the team’s players.

StormGain is an exchange that boasts of a user-friendly user interface and zero commission for the purchase of Bitcoin for 1% of its value on its platform. The exchange also allows users to trade with a multiplier of 100x, and accounts on the exchange are conducted in Tether (USDT) stablecoin.

Since its launch on July 1, the exchange has tried to gain widespread promotion and the CEO of StormGain, Alex Althausen, could not hide his enthusiasm following the move:

We are thrilled to be partnering with an exciting and a leading football club such as Newcastle United. We believe the collaboration of cryptocurrencies and mainstream sports is inevitable; therefore, it’s a privilege and honor for StormGain to be the spearhead of the blockchain community colliding with mainstream sports.

The exchange hopes to unlock new levels of awareness for cryptocurrency globally because the EPL is one of the leagues that have massive followers.

Responding to the partnership, Newcastle United’s Head of Commercial, Dale Aitchison, stated that the importance of the partnership could not be overemphasized, as the exchange would help bring lots of opportunities for the club and fans at large.

“We are always looking to support the club’s development by pursuing new commercial opportunities, and this represents another important partnership for the club. StormGain will offer a range of incredible opportunities and money-can’t-buy experiences for fans, so we are excited to be working together,” Aitchison said.

As Coinfomania reported in November, Malta-based crypto exchange, OKEx, also made a similar move by becoming partnering with the English Premier League (EPL). The move saw the exchange’s logo displayed on pitchside broadcasting systems during selected live EPL football games.
