Michigan Quarterback Cade McNamara to be Paid in Crypto Via New NIL Deal

Cade McNamara, the quarterback for Michigan Wolverines, has recently bagged a huge NIL deal with the crypto firm, More Management, which will see him getting paid in crypto.

According to a recent report, McNamara’s promotional contract with More Management will ensure he gets paid in crypto for his social media posting and personal appearances at upcoming MORE events.

The Los Angeles-based firm is a diversified crypto company focused on membership services, curated live experiences, and digital collectibles.

Its native token, MORE, is currently listed on the leading crypto exchange, Bittrex, allowing several athletes and celebrities affiliated with More Management to enhance the relationship with the company.

With this new deal, McNamara, who will be entering his junior season, is set to become the first college student-athlete to be paid with cryptocurrency in a NIL deal.

Speaking in a comment, Peter Klamka, the founder and CEO of More Management said,

“We are pleased to be working with Cade. With the rapidly growing interest in cryptocurrency and a number of professional athletes now getting paid in crypto, we expect other college athletes to soon follow Cade’s lead in seeking partnerships within the cryptocurrency community. We are looking forward to having Cade as part of the MORE family.

McNamara will be joining the long list of renowned celebrities, NBA, NFL, and UFC athletes that have worked with More Management, including Cardi B, LilBaby, Saweetie, and many others.

The young athlete could not withhold his excitement and the prospect of becoming a part of the rapidly growing cryptocurrency industry.

He said,

“I couldn’t be more excited to join MORE. I am looking forward to learning more about crypto and being part of this great organization.”

The cryptocurrency industry is gradually being integrated into the sports world, as more athletes receive either their salaries or contract bonuses in crypto.

Just a few weeks ago, football star Lionel Messi received his PSG contract bonus in the club’s native digital token, $PSG.
