Chiliz (CHZ) the native token of the Socios.com blockchain project has amassed more than 50,000 users within the first two months following the soft-launch of the Socios.com application for Android.
The latest milestone shared on Twitter by Socios.com CEO Alexandre Dreyfus marks another achievement for a blockchain-based project that has could gain mainstream adoption in the near future.

Notably, the 50,000 user mark likely includes that the number of people who hold Chiliz tokens via the Socios.com app which lets football fans participate in decision making at their favorite clubs which the project partnered with.
Coinfomania reported last month that Socios conducted the Fan Token Offering (FTO) which saw the sale of tokens to Juventus fans. The tokens can now purportedly be used to vote on a decision regarding the song to be played at the stadium when the Italian football giants score a goal.
Meanwhile, Socios in October revealed the dates for FTOs covering the other six clubs listed on the platform including West Ham, Atletico Madrid, Roma, Galatasary, Paris St. German, and esports team, OG.
With these fan tokens expected to go live between January and the end of March 2020, and an iOS release still waiting, one might rightly argue that the 50,000 user mark is just a starting point for Chiliz and Socios.
