Binance is no doubt staying true to its promise of promoting the freedom of money across the world, as the exchange, in collaboration with Genesis Block, has made Binance Coin (BNB) easily accessible at 33 crypto Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) located in two Asian countries.
According to the official announcement by Genesis Block, a Bitcoin Center and International OTC Trading Desk, cryptocurrency enthusiasts can now purchase BNB with cash at 30 CoinHere ATM locations in Hong Kong and 3 CoinHere ATM locations in Taiwan.
The alliance between Binance and Genesis Block happened through Genesis Block’s subsidiary, CoinHere, the largest Bitcoin and cryptocurrency ATM in Asia.
Since both companies’ aspiration is to bring cryptocurrencies to the mainstream and encourage growth in the industry, the pair is seemingly a perfect match.
“BNB will now be more accessible than ever with locations scattered across Hong Kong and Taiwan able to sell BNB 24/7. The minimum buy in to use these ATMs is HK$500 (US$64.50). It has long been a pillar of Genesis Block to build up the Bitcoin and cryptocurrency community to provide a springboard for mass adoption,” Genesis Block explained.
Binance is excited about the collaboration as it boosts the adoption of BNB in Asia. Commenting on the development, Binance CEO, CZ encouraged the use of the BNB, saying “And people wonder how I live without a bank account, #useBNB.” However, he did confess that these days, he uses more of OTC conversions instead of ATMs.
