YZi Labs Launches Season 2 of EASY Residency Targeting Web3, AI, and Biotech

YZi Labs has launched the second season of its flagship incubation program, EASY Residency. It is expanding its reach to founders worldwide. This new season focuses on empowering entrepreneurs across Web3, artificial intelligence and biotechnology. It offers funding, mentorship and a global support network.

Expanding Global Reach and Support

Season 2 of EASY Residency is going global. The eight-week program is now running across Dubai, San Francisco, New York, and Singapore. Dubai will serve as the anchor hub, hosting the final demo day during Binance Blockchain Week.

The decision to expand globally comes after many Season 1 participants faced visa delays and geopolitical barriers. Therefore, by setting up multiple hubs, YZi Labs hopes to make the program more accessible and collaborative. In addition, each city will host in-person events, workshops, and community gatherings, all connected through one shared ecosystem.

Backed by BNB Chain’s MVB Program

A major highlight of Season 2 is its integration with BNB Chain’s MVB (Most Valuable Builder) accelerator. Specifically, the MVB program has supported over 10 successful seasons, helping founders scale through technical guidance and ecosystem exposure. Now, MVB joins forces with YZi Labs under EASY Residency to offer even stronger cross-ecosystem collaboration.

Startups will benefit from up to $500,000 in investment. It includes $150,000 for 5% equity via a SAFE agreement and an additional $350,000 on an uncapped SAFE. The integration aims to bring together the best of both worlds: MVB’s proven accelerator framework and YZi Labs’ founder-first residency model. Together, they want to help early stage startups in Web3, AI and biotech to solve real world challenges. While growing on a global scale.

Building Without Borders

YZi Labs describes EASY Residency as a space where founders can “build without borders.” To that end, the program handles all logistics, from housing and meals to mentorship and ecosystem access. So participants can focus fully on creation. Ella Zhang, founder of YZi Labs, said the residency was born from her experience across Tencent, Google, Kleiner Perkins and Stanford GSB. Crucially, her guiding principle is that great founders are those who make hard decisions guided by strong values.

Guest speakers for Season 2 include some of the biggest names in crypto and tech: CZ (Binance), Vitalik Buterin (Ethereum), Sandeep Nailwal (Polygon) and Matt Huang (Paradigm) among others. These mentors will share insights on product development, user growth and leadership.

Who Should Apply

Teams building on BNB Chain can also join the dedicated MVB track under EASY Residency. YZi Labs emphasizes that the program is designed for ambitious builders with the drive to make meaningful progress quickly. Consequently, applications are open on a rolling basis, giving entrepreneurs worldwide the opportunity to participate.
