Twitter co-founder and CEO Jack Dorsey recently revealed that Bitcoin is the only crypto asset in his portfolio. Dorsey made this known while responding to Udi Wertheimer’s question if he holds ETH, the native token of the Ethereum blockchain and the second-largest cryptocurrency in the world by market capitalization.

Jack Dorsey is a technology entrepreneur, philanthropist, and the founder and CEO of Square, a financial payments company.
The Twitter chief is a popular Bitcoin supporter, with his bio on the microblogging platform only having “Bitcoin” as a description. Jack’s bio, coupled with his acknowledgment today, suggests that the Twitter boss could be a Bitcoin maximalist.
For clarity, Bitcoin maximalists strongly believe that Bitcoin is the only true cryptocurrency or currency worth caring about. They believe with a strong conviction that other cryptocurrencies aside from Bitcoin are “technically flawed and morally questionable.”
In the past, when Dorsey refused to join the Facebook Libra project, Coinfomania reported that he referred to cryptocurrencies, especially Bitcoin, as the future of internet money, and termed Bitcoin as a currency for the general public.
Dorsey believes Bitcoin is “direct activism against the unverifiable and exclusionary financial system, which negatively affects so much of our society.” He also applauds Satoshi Nakamoto for creating Bitcoin and called the principle behind the currency “pure.”
Jack Dorsey did not just stop at supporting and advertising Bitcoin. He also contributes to the cryptocurrency’s progress by funding Bitcoin developers through Square Crypto, a company he established to foster the growth and development of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.
