Milestone: Blockchain-based Social Platform, Sapien Network, Launches Native Mobile Apps

Sapien

Sapien Network, a blockchain-based democratized social platform built for user privacy and customizability, has announced the launch of its native mobile apps for both Android and iOS users. This development makes Sapien one of the first and most accessible Web3 social networks in the world.

With the newly released mobile apps, people in countries that rely on smartphone adoption can now have access to Sapien. The apps will as well improve the connectivity of these users in their countries.

Sapien to reward content creators

Sapien is based on the Ethereum blockchain with more than 18 million tokens staked and thousands of user communities. The project recently met the need for an efficient privacy-optimized decentralized social platform after it partnered with the Matic network to boost and speed up the performance of its platform as high as 100x.

Sapien’s tokenized social platform will also reward users with free SPN tokens via referral contest to encourage more people to sign up. It will allow the creators of content to connect to their audiences, bringing transparency to an otherwise opaque corner of the digital economy directly.

The newly launched app has eliminated the need for middlemen who take their share out of the values entitled to the creators and creators can now share more and reach their audiences from anywhere in the world.

Sapien partners Biconomy and 1world Online

Alongside the launch, the company also announced its partnership with Biconomy and 1world Online.

Biconomy’s infrastructure network for blockchain transactions will enable Sapien users to interact with the Sapien platform without paying gas fees while 1World Online will enable users to engage with tailored content in polls, surveys, and trivia.

Commenting on other features that sets Sapien apart from major competitors CEO and Co-Founder of Sapien Network, Ankit Bhatia, highlighted their focus on decentralization, and thriving partnership with key members of the crypto ecosystem.

He told Coinfomania:

We’re building a social network that’s truly decentralized; Tribes will become separate, self-governing communities of people interested in discussing & sharing for a given topic, from crocheting afghan blankets to Javascript development.

Additionally, Bhatia expressed a conviction that Sapien is capable of reaching mainstream adoption with the latest delivery of gasless transactions set to match the mainstream user’s familiarity with “free” social products.

“We believe that building our platform on this decentralized foundation makes Sapien capable of breaking Web3 into the mainstream and can give new life to the digital creators economy,” he concluded.
