Pi Network Advances Mainnet With v25 Protocol and Builder Tools

Pi Network is pushing its ecosystem forward with new technical upgrades and creator tools. In late January, the network completed its Stellar Protocol v25 upgrade and expanded features in the Pi App Studio. Community posts highlight a clear message: the focus is on building long term utility, not short term price moves. While a large batch of Pi tokens is set to unlock soon, developers and community leaders say stronger fundamentals will matter more over time.

Protocol v25 Upgrade Strengthens Privacy and Security

The Stellar Protocol v25 upgrade is now live on Pi’s Mainnet. According to community updates, the upgrade improves privacy and prepares the network for future zero knowledge features. It also strengthens overall security and data handling.

Pi Network has used its Testnet2 environment to simulate heavy traffic before rolling out changes to Mainnet. Block production reportedly increased from about four million to seven million blocks during testing. This process helps the team check stability and performance under stress. Instead of focusing on charts or short term market pressure, they promote building apps and services. A creator event now rewards the first 1,000 qualified participants who help build useful apps inside the App Studio. This approach reflects a shift toward community-led development. Supporters say Pi’s strength lies in its large base of everyday users who can now become builders.

As around 150 million Pi tokens approach unlock, market attention remains high. Still, Pi’s messaging stays consistent. The network is focusing on infrastructure, privacy and tools for creators. By pairing protocol upgrades with easier app development, Pi aims to grow real usage. Payments, games and small services could become common inside the ecosystem.
