Crypto and Blockchain-Related Courses Continue to Grow

The increasing adoption of blockchain technology in various global sectors has seen the tech integrated into different school academic programs.

A recent Coinbase study in August suggested that interests in blockchain and crypto-related courses have increased over the years in top colleges.

At the time, Coinbase reported that 56 per cent of top 50 universities in the world are now offering at least one course on blockchain or cryptocurrency, which gained significant increase from the 42 per cent reported last year.

Also, Coinfomania reported last month that the University of Malta had launched a blockchain-focused Masters Program.

The program also commenced the same month, with 35 students registering for the course.

Joshua Ellul, the Masters Program Director and chairman of Malta Digital Innovation Authority, stated that the course would assist the students in learning about different crypto-related subjects.

At press time, NEO was exchanging hands at $11.8 per token with its market cap at $832 million.
