Altcoin Gordon is a popular name among Crypto traders. On 15th January 20-25 a tweet from his channel became viral.  

He discussed conditions under which Bitcoin can grow immensely or be ruined in the future. The single post got 10000 retweets and over 5000 likes within one day. Standing now people are still sharing the post immensely.  

How did Bitcoin react?  

There are several posts regarding Bitcoin in a day. But this is one post that got immense traction. After the release of this post, Bitcoin price reached a new high of $46200, within 4 hours.  

After this tweet, Ethereum also got major traction. The value of the coin increased from $2800 to $2850.  

And the price hike is not the only movement after the tweet. Trading volumes also started to rise for the time being. Both BTC and ETH gained strong momentum. The BTC trading volume reached more than 15 billion USD while ETH reached a volume of $8 billion.  

Technical Analysis 

The single tweets helped the two coins to break their resistance levels. The RSI of the BTC/USD pair also reached 70. However, the coin potential was not so much at that moment which means the position was certainly superficial. Even the MACD for the pair was exhibiting a bullish crossover.
