Gate Earns AA in Derivatives and A in Spot in CoinDesk’s Exchange Benchmark, Cementing Its Global Standing

The Exchange Benchmark of CoinDesk makes an assessment of the digital asset exchanges two times annually. It evaluates over 200 performance and risk measures, such as security, transparency, quality in the market and legal compliance. At the recent release, Gate has received 85.97 points in the Derivatives category coming fourth in the world. It became a member of the premier category of the best exchanges to be granted the AA ranking, one of the few platforms to gain exceptional governance and low-risk profiles. In the Spot category, Gate got A grade, which proves its stability in both trading segments.

Good Results in Major Metrics

Another area that Gate achieved excellence in was the Market Quality, Security, and Regulatory Compliance. It scored the optimal 25.0 in Market Quality that shows deep liquidity, effective order books and excellent trading execution. The general ranking of Gate put it on the same level as the major exchanges, such as Binance, Kraken, and OKX, in the global rating of CoinDesk.
Although Binance and Kraken scored higher on the composite, the gradual increase of Gate is an indicator of its increasing user base and technical stability along with reputation of being transparent. It did better than the established competitors, including Bullish, Bybit, and Deribit, highlighting its growing control in the derivatives trade.
