Electroneum Ventures Into NFTs With Blockchain Heroes Partnership

Blockchain heroes

The mobile phone-based cryptocurrency app, Electroneum, has recently partnered with Blockchain Heroes, a collectible crypto trading card set that features crypto and blockchain-inspired characters, to enable its smooth venture into the world of NFTs.

According to a recent blog post, Electroneum marketing manager, Jonathan Marriot, stated that the app will be releasing its very first crypto trading card dubbed “Electroman.”

He revealed that this trading card was designed by a Brazilian artist, Neto Roberto, who charged just $70 to complete the work. He added that the partnership with Blockchain Heroes was not only aimed at creating global awareness of NFTs but also to show how easy it is for anyone to come on board.

He said, “Not only are we helping to raise awareness for the NFT space, but we’re showcasing how simple it can be for anyone to get involved, starting with the amazing talents of freelancers around the world found at AnyTask.com.”

Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) refer to the digital version of the physical trading cards that are distributed and traded on the blockchain. According to Joel Comm, the co-founder of Blockchain Heroes, NFTs possess many important benefits in contrast to physical cards.

He said, “Unlike traditional collectible trading cards, items created on the blockchain (such as NFTs) provide important benefits. These advantages include transparent sales and trading history, immutable ownership records, provable scarcity, and unique minting identification.”

Despite being a new addition to the crypto and blockchain space, NFTs are fast gaining public recognition, especially among gamers. They are rapidly rendering the use of physical trading cards obsolete.

With the help of blockchain technology, these trading cards will be easy to distribute and trade, and will not become damaged or fade with time.

Marriot expressed Electroneum’s excitement for the partnership with Blockchain Heroes. He said, ” Electroneum is incredibly excited to get involved at ground level. Whilst the big players await their entry into this exciting and fascinating new space, why not get involved yourself and start your very own series of NFTs with the help of Neto and many other artists, found at AnyTask.com.”
