Crypto Developer Activity Drops Sharply as Talent Moves to AI

The recent information covered by CoinDesk shows the magnitude of the crypto development slowdown. The number of weekly blockchain code commits decreased drastically. This figure has decreased to approximately 210,000 today compared to 850,000 commits at the beginning of 2025. The active involvement of the developers also reduced drastically.

Consequently, numerous programmers who used to create blockchain programs are currently working on the creation of AI.
