Brave browser

Brave, the cryptocurrency-powered web browser, has announced rapid growth in its user base.

According to the latest statistics, the browser now has 8 million monthly active users and over 2.8 million daily active users. There are also 290,000 Brave Verified Publishers who subscribed to the advert program powered by Brave’s BAT (Basic Attention Token).

Among those publishers, 200,000 are YouTube creators, 33,000 are website creators, 15,000 are Twitch streamers, and about 28,000 Twitter accounts have joined since its announcement to support Twitter tipping on August 1st.

Since the launch of Brave’s opt-in Ads six months ago, it has gotten a lot of partnerships. So far, about 385 campaigns have been concluded on the Brave platform sparking 97 million ad confirmation events.

The Brave opt-in Ads preserve the privacy of users and also reward them with 70% of the ad revenue. Currently, Brave has recorded a high user engagement rate with its ads.

In July, Brave announced a media partnership with SLIVER.tv which consisted of a 90-day advertising collaboration and Brave becoming the recommended browser for SLIVER.tv.

Brave was able to drive almost 500,000 visits to SLIVER.tv with around 10% of the visits lasting 10 seconds or longer. SLIVER.tv also ran a media mix of traditional banners that drove over 250,000 visits to Brave.

More to that, Brave was among the six companies selected from more than 1,000 contenders for the R/GA Oregon Enterprise Blockchain Venture Studio (OEBVS). These six startups provide the solutions needed by today’s modern business and are at the forefront of blockchain technology

Brave as we reported in the past plans to solve the problems of digital advertising and is currently reaching the same level of popularity as its rivals like Chrome, Firefox, and Opera.
