Popular non-custodian crypto exchange Changelly has added support for ETN, the native cryptocurrency of Electroneum, a digital payment-focused blockchain project with over 4 million users, according to a Thursday announcement.
Launched in 2016, Changelly provides go-between services for exchanges and users, making crypto purchases with fiat and crypto-to-crypto exchanges stress-free for customers using mobile and desktop devices.
Through the listing on Changelly, millions of global users will be able to buy, sell, and exchange ETN coins instantly and seamlessly alongside the 160 existing cryptocurrencies on the exchange.
Speaking on the milestone, Chris Norris, Electroneum corporate head, said
We are happy Electroneum has joined the Changelly family, offering our users the instrument to get ETN in the easiest and the fastest way! Changelly offers a truly seamless experience when it comes to instant crypto-to-crypto exchanges.
Norris further noted that the listing would benefit Electroneum since the exchange aggregates prices and liquidity from different custodial trading platforms. Changelly also has a quick registration process with improved user experience, he said.
“People anywhere can now get ETN to purchase tasks on our freelance platform once that function is enabled in the coming weeks. They can also get some ETN to send to anybody else with an ETN wallet address at a fraction of a US cent. Or they can purchase airtime or electricity for themselves via the Electroneum app or for anybody else with the Electroneum app no matter where they are,” Norris added.
Expressing how flexible it is to purchase cryptocurrencies with fiat on Changelly, the exchange’s CEO Eric Benz noted,
“Changelly’s mission has always been to provide customers with the easiest and fastest way to buy and swap crypto. With the more fiat options becoming available, we felt it best for our customers to have a tool, which provides all the best rates from different fiat partners we work with.”
With a listing on Changelly fully secured, Electroneum now looks forward to getting listed on the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange Binance after two failed attempts.
