Bitget and Avalanche Unite to Supercharge India’s Web3 Revolution

Bitget, the leading global crypto exchange and Web3 company, has formally announced a joint strategic collaboration with Avalanche®, the fastest and most secure smart contracts platform in the world. The partnerships aim to leverage the strengths of both innovators in digital asset trading and blockchain ecosystems to move forward grassroots adoption of Web3 in India, the world’s #1 country for crypto adoption currently.

Bitget’s Blockchain4Youth and Blockchain4Her Programs Empower Indian Talent

To support young talent and increase representation for all groups, Bitget has pledged a total of $10 million over five years as part of its Blockchain4Youth initiative. During this commitment, Bitget will run an array of scholarships, bootcamps, and hackathons, fulfilling its goal of empowering the Web3 community, be it in India or the global community.

Similarly, Bitget’s ongoing initiative, Blockchain4Her, is gaining traction as it strives to support women-led Web3 projects. Both Blockchain4Youth and Blockchain4Her programs are designed to reduce the knowledge gap about blockchain technology and democratize it to a much larger demographic to foster more inclusivity in the rapidly growing digital economy.

‘HODL ON’ Tour: Building Communities, One City at a Time

The collaboration took a practical turn with the launch of the ‘HODL ON’ tour, which kicked off with its first two meetup events in Delhi and Bangalore. The tour focuses on promoting education and awareness about blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies among students, developers, and entrepreneurs.

These events offer opportunities for Web3 startups in India to showcase their work, connect with global leaders, and secure funding for their ventures. Bitget and Avalanche have pledged to expand this initiative, organizing more events across Indian cities throughout 2025.
