Bitcoin to Hit $250k “Conservatively,” Says Legendary Trader Raoul Pal

Raoul Pal, a renowned Bitcoiner and economist, predicts that BTC will hit a $250,000 mark within 18 months.

As Bitcoin (BTC) continues to break new price heights, several investors have speculated on the next significant price surge for the leading cryptocurrency. Raoul Pal, co-founder of the financial media platform Real Vision, predicted that the asset would break the $250,000 price mark. He also shared speculative prices for ETH and SOL.

BTC to Skyrocket to $250k

Pal shared this prediction during an interview with Anthony Scaramucci, the founder of global investment firm SkyBridge Capital. The Real Vision founder made it clear that he doesn’t like making price predictions. Still, he stated that BTC will likely soar to a $250,000 price range.

The speculation is fueled by the current dynamics of the spot Bitcoin ETFs, an investment vehicle that has raked in billions of dollars within the United States market. Over the past two months, the Bitcoin ecosystem has experienced an impressive bull run due to the active purchases of these ETF products from several companies offering them.

Pal’s speculation also comes ahead of the anticipated Bitcoin halving event, a process where block reward will downsize from 6.25 BTC to 3.125 BTC. Earlier today, BTC broke a new price peak of nearly $72,000. That price mark was surpassed at press time, bringing the leading crypto’s price to $72,100.

Pal Shares Price Prediction for ETH and SOL

At Scaramucci’s request, Pal shared speculative prices for two leading altcoins, ETH and SOL. For ETH, the Real Vision founder projected a price surge between $15,000 and $20,000. The speculation comes amid anticipation for a spot Ethereum ETF in the U.S. financial market. Other catalysts that can take ETH from its current price to such height include its ongoing upgrades like the Dencun upgrade. ETH currently trades at around $4,000.

Pal predicts that SOL will soar to as high as $750 or $1,000. The asset currently trades at $149.
