Bitcoin Depot, one of the largest and fastest-growing cryptocurrency ATM networks based in Atlanta, Georgia, revealed in a press release that it has increased the number of available bitcoin ATMs in the world by launching more than 350 new crypto ATMs opening across the U.S.
With its goal of making cryptocurrency transactions more secure, convenient, and faster, thus increasing crypto adoption by the public, the company claims to have more than 2,500 strong networks of cryptocurrency ATMs that enable users to buy Bitcoin, Litecoin, and Ethereum instantly.
The latest releases of over 350 new ATMs have spiked the company’s kiosk footprint. The newly launched crypto ATMs are available in 40 different states. There are 40 new kiosks across Florida, 32 new kiosks across North Carolina, 24 new kiosks across Texas, 23 new kiosks across California, and 20 new kiosks across Georgia.
Bitcoin Depot’s kiosks allow crypto holders to exchange cash for cryptocurrency without going through the protocols involved when using crypto exchanges. Individuals can conduct simple, in-person crypto transactions without taking long hours.
Promoting Crypto Adoption
The launch of different crypto ATMs, like the case of Bitcoin Depot, shows how popular bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are becoming as they push toward mainstream adoption by both individuals and institutions.
Recently, Camping World Holdings, Inc., one of America’s largest recreation dealers, started accepting cryptocurrencies as payments for recreational vehicle (RV) purchases through a partnership deal with cryptocurrency payment service provider BitPay.
Bitcoin Depot President and CEO Brandon Mintz, commented, “Cryptocurrency offers opportunities for people that don’t have access to traditional financial services.”
He continued, “Our kiosks allow them to essentially self-bank through the digital wallet on their phone, by turning their cash into cryptocurrency which can be used to transfer money, pay bills or invest. We are proud that our continued expansion will bring this option to more people across the world.”
In March, Bitcoin Depot installed more than 100 Bitcoin ATMs across 24 states in the United States. 14 were deployed across Alabama, while 13, 12, and 12 bitcoin kiosks were installed in Minnesota, Florida, and California, respectively. The remaining 64 crypto ATMs were situated in 20 other cities in the United States.
