The session will underline changing priorities in risk frameworks for many large financial institutions.

On 19 June, the  Banking Transformation Summit hosts the panel CBDCs vs. Cryptocurrencies: Navigating the Future of Digital Money begins at 12:40 PM. This session runs until 1:20 PM on the BTS Jade Stage in central London. The discussion will explore central bank digital currencies, stablecoins, and tokenized assets. Joy Adams, COO of Digital Assets Transformation at Deutsche Bank, will lead this conversation. Experts from Amazon Web Services and State Street will discuss monetary policy and inclusion. Panelists will examine how banks adapt to a hybrid currency environment across global markets.

TableTalks Offer Peer-Led Conversations on Industry Developments

Beyond panels, the Banking Transformation Summit offers 400 TableTalks, each a 30-minute roundtable conversation. Sessions are led by Table Captains and host six participants per table without formal presentations. This format excludes sales pitches and encourages candid peer-to-peer discussion on real challenges. Topics cover compliance, lending, wealth management, and other areas across banking operations.
